View Tribute Book Phillips Lee “Buddy” Gamber, Jr., 74, of Westminster, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Carroll Lutheran Village. Born December 11, 1947, in Sykesville, he was the son of the late Phillips L. and Lucille Wilson Gamber. He was the loving husband of Linda Marie Gamber, his wife of 41 years. Before disability, Buddy worked as a security guard for Springfield Hospital. He enjoyed camping, cars, and playing Pokémon Go. His biggest passion was music. He played the bass guitar and was a lead singer for different bands, the last one being Bite the Bullet Band. Above all, Buddy cherished the time spent with his family. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Scott K. Gamber of Florida, Kimberly A. Gamber of Westminster, Amy L. Wean of Dallastown, Angela M. Sears and husband Harry of Westminster, and Elizabeth A. Cowley of Westminster; grandchildren Cherish A. Harbin, Alana R. Wean, Kayla M. Wean, Aubrey A. Sears, Justin A. Sears, Hailey L. Sears, Seth A. Gamber, and Hayzel L. Cowley; great grandson Leonardo P. Salgado; siblings Patricia and husband Carl Burdette, Debby Gamber, Carroll and wife Lisa Gamber; and sister in law LuAnn Gamber. He was preceded in death by his brother William “Butch” Gamber. The family will welcome friends on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022 at 11 am at the funeral home. For those unable to attend his service, it will be livestreamed.
