DeFelice, age 74, of Danbury passed away peacefully on Monday December 26, 2022. He was the husband of Evelyn (Santagata) DeFelice. Mr. DeFelice was born June 15, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Alexander and Vincy (Ferrera) DeFelice. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Francis College and was currently enjoying retirement. Philip enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, and vegetable gardening. Mr. DeFelice proudly served his country as a member of the Army National Guard. In addition to his wife Evelyn, Mr. DeFelice is survived by his two daughters Andrea Shepard and her husband Brian, and Deborah DeFelice; his sister Elaine Spataro and her husband Michael, his brother-in-law James Santagata and his wife Matti, his sister-in-law Carol Gallagher and her husband Joseph, and his grandchildren Alexander and Nicholas. He is also survived by countless family and friends who were very important in his life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to curecmd.org (subtype Lama2).
