Norman Theodore Enoch October 22 2022

October 22 2022
Norman Theodore Enoch, 89, of Unionville, was reunited with his sweetheart Emma surrounded by family on October 22, 2022, He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma; mother, Hazel Grover; daughter, Paula Lynn; granddaughter Ashley Perry; and sons-in-law, Donald Perry, and Kenneth Brown. He is survived by his children Jillian (Louise) and Clint Myers, Delila Peebles, Norma Perry, Pamela Brown, son Timothy, and Connie Enoch. Grandchildren, Tamara, Donald, Kenneth, Casey, Frank, and Austin. Ten great-grandchildren, Emily, Brian, Megan, Ethan, Landon, Audrey, Olivia, Max, Violet, and Scarlett. Norman was a Master Sheetmetal Mechanic honored for his workmanship, technique, and ability to fit the complex pieces together with precision– earning him the title of Master Sheetmetal Mechanic. His workmanship can be found in many prestigious buildings in Washington DC including embassies, FBI, CIA, Smithsonian Museum, Wolf Trap Farm Park, and Children’s Hospital, with his son Tim working alongside him. Dad’s greatest love was mom and his family. He married his sweetheart on July 2, 1955, and they were together for 57 years, only ending with her passing. Together they built a loving home for their family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were so special to him; to them, he was dindaddy, granddad, paw paw, papa, grandfadder grandpa, and great grandaddy. Dad loved fishing, and we treasured the mornings when we were young, him waking one of us up early in the morning to go fishing with him. We took turns and never knew who he would wake up to go with him. So many warm memories of going fishing and crabbing with him, so much so that his children grew up loving to fish. It became a tradition when we were older to take dad deep sea fishing every Father’s Day. Dad loved those trips as much as we did, and we will treasure those memories as we move along this journey without him. Dad’s lack of presence in our lives will be difficult; he is so dearly loved and missed. We can take comfort in knowing he is safely in Mom’s arms, his sweetheart.
