Nevin William Fisher II, 63, died on Friday, September 23, 2022 at his residence. He married the love of his life, Dorinda Mae (Lightner) Fisher, on August 23, 1980, celebrating 42 years together. Nevin was born in York on March 11, 1959, son of Nevin William Fisher and the late Joan Elaine (Waltemyer) Fisher. Nevin graduated from York Vo-Tech, Class of 1977. He was the owner of Fisher’s Marine and Custom Canvas for 26 years. He enjoyed boating, crabbing, and hunting, especially with his grandchildren. His family was everything to him. He was able to go on a last special family trip to Wyoming with his wife and daughters, they will forever cherish those memories. In addition to his wife and father, Nevin is survived by two daughters, Amanda N. Kline and her husband, Troy of Airville and Kayla N. Shultz and her husband, Joshua of Brogue; seven grandchildren that he adored, Elijah W. Smeltzer, Kylie A. Smeltzer, Mitchell N. Fitzkee, Chloe M. Fitzkee, Sophia D. Fitzkee, Waylon D. Shultz, and Hank W. Shultz; and two sisters, Roxanne Haines and her husband, Brad and Colleen Gemmill and her husband, Dave. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at The Barn, 267 Middle River Road, Brogue, PA 17309. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York, PA 17403.
