Hindman, age 73, of Grove City, loving wife and caring mother, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday morning, Feb. 11, 2022. She was surrounded by her family and friends. Nancy was a woman of many talents. She loved to sketch, crochet, sew, and sing. She was a member of Grove City Alliance Church where she served on the Worship Arts Team and Awana programs. Nancy was born in New Wilmington, PA, on Sept. 28, 1948, to Ernest and Ella (Moss) Shaffer. She graduated from West Middle High School in 1966. Nancy met the love of her life, David Guy “Butch” Hindman at the Plaid Stamp Redemption Store where they were both employed. They were married on Feb. 7, 1969. Survivors include, her husband, David at home, two daughters, Cheryl Bowan, Oil City, PA, and Barbara (Jeff) Irwin, Independence, MO, five grandsons, a granddaughter, her mother, Ella Shaffer, New Wilmington, a sister, Helen Redman, Centerville, and a brother Glenn (Darlene) Shaffer, New Wilmington.
