Myrna Schweiger 88, passed away peacefully November 28, 2022 following an extended illness. A celebration of her life will be on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 10:00 a.m Born March 25, 1934, in Bronx, New York to Pearl and Max Tunick, Myrna is survived by her older brother Barry Tunick. Myrna graduated from Newtown High School and attended Vassar College. She moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1961 where she raised five children. She was a dental hygienist, had her own interior design store on Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale and sold Long-term care insurance through Myrna Schweiger & Associates for over 10 years. Myrna had a great sense of humor and was loved by her friends. She was an award-winning tennis player and enjoyed entertaining. Myrna was a member of Congregation L’Dor Va-Dor in Boynton Beach. Her role model in life was her Grandma Fanny. Her favorite saying was “A moving target is hard to catch.” She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl & Max Tunick and her beloved son Howard Roy Schweiger. She is remembered and loved by her son Larry Bryan (Suzanne) and her daughters, Helen Riger (Keith) Ann Cohen (Larry) and Laura Lema, her grandchildren Rachel Scharfman, Daniel Riger (Alden), Kirstin Perri, Nicki Bryan, Brandon Bryan (Arantwa), Jagger Lema, Dara Franklin (James), Elysa Cohen and her great grandchildren Zahava, Yehuda, Tzippora and Penninah Scharfman and her former husband Stanley Schweiger.
