Obituary Mildred V. Sutton Rule, age 92 of Sevierville, TN passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 on what would have been her and Dee’s 75th wedding anniversary. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Rule; son, Donnie Rule Sr.; parents, Claude J. and Debbie Ownby Sutton; brothers, Irvin (Jack), Aaron (Buck), Marvin (Bully), James D. (George), Bob (Mott), and Earnie (Pete); sister, Lillian Sutton Hammer; sisters-in-law, Erika, Velma and Freda; brother-in-law, Kenny Hammer. Her survivors include her daughter, Anna R. King and husband Roy; grandchildren, Donnie and Jennifer Rule, Adam and Jeni Rule, Barry Rule, Dee Dee Manis; great-grandchildren, Taylor Manis, Hayden and Jonah Lawson, Rylee, Macy and Keleigh Jo Rule; sisters-in-law, Jean Reed, Lois Sutton, Dean S. Briggs and Sue Sutton; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff of UT Hospice, especially Mildred’s ice cream buddy Mira Bright. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Second Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 4251, Sevierville, TN 37864. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Family and friends will meet 11 AM Friday at Boyd’s Creek Cemetery for graveside service and interment. Rev.
