ZIELINSKI – Michael, PhD Of Amherst, NY, August 29, 2022, at age 77. Loving son of the late Benedict and Velma Zielinski; dear brother of the late Audrey (Joseph) Zon; dearest uncle of Joseph, Martin, Timothy, Peter and David; also survived by great nieces and nephews. Visitation at the KOLANO FUNERAL HOME, 396 Amherst St. (near Grant) Friday 4-8PM, where prayers will be held Saturday at 9AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Assumption Church at 9:30AM. Entombment with Military Honors at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Michael was a teacher, an administrator and then later the principal at Maryvale High School. He was also a member of the West Side Rowing Club. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
