Merle R. Ruth, 95, of Annville, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at his son’s home in Lewisburg. He was the husband of the late Marion Faye (Moore) Ruth. Born in Colmar on June 18, 1927, he was the son of the late Linford and Mary Ann Ruth. He was a member of the Dohner Mennonite Church where he served as minister for 52 years. He is survived by his son Durrell (Brenda) Ruth of Lewisburg; daughter Kathleen (Ronald) Martin of Williamsburg, PA; eleven grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson Wendell Martin and brother Russell Ruth. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the Dohner Mennonite Church. A viewing will be held on Friday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
