View Tribute Book Matthew Floyd Hays, age 44, of Pierce City, Missouri, passed away at 9:55 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born April 12, 1978, in Tulare, California, the son of William Floyd and Janet Yvonne (Kyle) Hays. Matthew was a 1997 graduate of Marionville High School, in Marionville, Missouri. He was a self-employed roofer. Matthew is survived by his daughter, Serenity Hays, of Springfield, Missouri; six siblings, Stefanie Turner of Killeen, Texas, Cynthia Campbell of Marionville, Missouri, Lisa Hays of Springfield, Missouri, Will Hays of Pierce City, Missouri, Heather Combs and her husband, Jeremey, of Clever, Missouri and Michele Elliott of Highlandville, Missouri and his father and stepmother, Floyd and Sherry Hays of Marionville, Missouri. Matthew was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Hays. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, Missouri.
