Burleson Bath Marilynn Burleson, 72, of Lakeview apartments passed away Friday (November 25, 2022) at her home. Born in Hornell on March 28, 1950 the daughter of Robert and Delia (Woodworth) Burleson, she had resided her entire life in Steuben County. She was employed as a seamstress for many years at the former Marion Rohr “Panty Shanty” and will be remembered by many for her love of family, Bingo and card games. She was predeceased by both parents as well her Husband; Guy Barber Sr. in 1987, a Granddaughter; Mariah Barber in 2022, two Brothers; William and Robert Burleson and three Sisters; Jackie Howard, Phillis Hall and Charlotte Mastin. Survivors include her Son; Guy (Cortney) Barber Jr. of Savona, two Daughters; Arlena Barber and SueAnn (Daryl) Whitehead both of Avoca, six Grandchildren; Stephanie Whitehead of Avoca, Jessica (Timothy) Jackson of Howard, Amber (Jason) Payne of Elmira, Abby Whitehead of Avoca, Clifford Barber of Savona & Ava Barber of Savona, seven Great Grandchildren; Leah and Rylie Jackson, Zoeii Preston, Akira Burdick, Guy Barber III, Leeham Payne & Gracelynn Payne. In accordance with Marilynn’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a future date by the family. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Canisteo.
