Marie Eleanora Battalora Seiler, born August 15, 1924, in New Orleans, LA, died December 28, 2022, in Covington, LA, with devoted family at her bedside. Mrs. Seiler was the daughter of the late George Clarence Battalora, Sr. and Marie Eleanora Bargas Battalora. She married her much beloved husband, Milton Walsh Seiler, Sr. on December 27, 1945, until his death in 2004. She was loving mother to Milton Walsh Seiler, Jr. (Marshall) , Marie Eleanora Seiler Heurtin (Ray), Katherine Marie Seiler Shepherd (Warren), Patricia Marie Seiler Spreen (Erwin), Judith Marie Seiler Schlumbrecht (Peter), and Caroline Marie Seiler Ebert (Charles). Mrs. Seiler is also survived by her much loved nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her youngest brother, Albert Lemee Battalora having been predeceased by brothers, George Clarence Battalora, Jr., Harold Joseph Battalora and John Raymond Battalora. Mrs. Seiler attended Ursuline Academy and the Newcomb College. She was a homemaker, artist, businesswoman and our mentor as well as a life-long devout Roman Catholic. Her special devotions were to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Virgin Mary and St. Joseph. The family is deeply appreciative of the loving care offered our mother by Dr. Tania Levi, Darnell Brown, Home Instead and Anvoi Hospice.
