Marie A. Berry Marie A. Berry 75 of Harrisburg, PA died, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center. Marie was born in Lilly, PA and was the daughter of the late Michael E. and Elizabeth M. (Leahey) Salony. She graduated from Mansfield University with a Library Science degree and retired from the Harrisburg School District after 35 years as a school librarian. Marie was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Salony, and brother-in-law, Stephan Helpern. Marie (Nani, Mama Bear) is survived by her daughter, Jennifer L. Berry; her precious twin granddaughters, Sydney Marie Wingfield and Ryley Jane Wingfield; her sister, Michele aka Mickey (Jim) Maurer; her brothers, James Salony, Timothy Salony, Kim Salony, and Mark Salony; Nephews: Patrick Maurer (Susan), Dr. J. P Maurer (Maryann); Nieces, Beth Eyer (Brian), Katie Conley (Michael). Grand Nephews: Jeremy Maurer, Kyle Maurer, Peyton Maurer, Mason Maurer, Miles Maurer, Michael Conley, Patrick Conley. Grand Nieces: Libby Maurer, Terryn Eyer, Lilly Conley; her special friend for more than 30 years, Tom Kramer, and his son’s Bobby and Steve Kramer, and Tom’s grandson (Bobby’s son), Gunnar Kramer; her loving cats, Oliver, Gremmie, ET, Lilly, Oreo and her grand cat Paco; her grand dogs, Scout Blue and Chelsea Roo. She is preceded in death by Skye Blue, the best grand doggie ever, and her sweet grand cat, Gracie Gray. She is also survived by her former husband and Jennifer’s father, Robert G. Berry, and her “nieces” Sherry Philips and Juma “Lu” Maser. They have been a big support throughout a very difficult time. Celebration of Life for family will be held at a later date.
