With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Maria Hernandez, on Saturday July 30, 2022 at the age, of 80, in his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Maria, was a dearly loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Maria, was born on May 27, 1942 in Chine Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Miguel Garza and Adelita Gonzalez Garza. She is preceded in death by her loving parents+, and her loving husband, Pedro Hernandez+. She is survived by her loving children, Blanca Gonzalez, Maria Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez, and Benito Hernandez, Adelita Hernandez, Paulita Hernandez. Survivors also include her 23 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
