Lapp, age 94, a resident of Edinboro Manor passed away there on Saturday November 26, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 27, 1928, a daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Boyd) Geraghty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lapp; sister, Evelyn Albert; brother, Thomas Geraghty; granddaughter, Amy Marzka and one son-in-law, William Swanson. Peggy was a longtime member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and traveling. She is survived by four daughters, Sharon Swanson, Kathy Weaver (Don), Sue Presutti (Mark) and Jennie Miller (Brad); eight grandchildren, Shelly Kupfer (Adam), Brian Marzka, Dawn Duncan (Wes), Kristy Weaver, Carrie Grack (Joe), Melissa Delavern (Brian), Katie Miller (Nick Murray) and Steven Miller (Sarah); sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Edinboro Manor for all of their loving care and support over the last six years. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either, UPMC Family Hospice, 1700 Peach St. #244 Erie, PA 16501, or Lakewood United Methodist Church 3856 W 10th St. Erie, PA 16505.
