Margaret “Margie” Lafern Dow, age 88, of Mulberry, Arkansas, died, Monday, December 5, 2022, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born March 28, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri to Frank and Maude ElFrank. Margie was of the Methodist faith, a seamstress, loved to sew, make outfits for orphanages in Africa and Barbie doll clothes, loved flea markets, liked fishing but was afraid of the water, made homemade jelly for people that brought her berries, loved helping people, loved her family, friends, and her dog Nakita. Margie was loved by many and her family and friends will be lost without her. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Carolyn Kyser. Margie is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Bob Dow; two daughters, Debbie Reynolds and husband Lawrence of New Blain, Arkansas, and Brenda Kincaid and husband Perrin of Stillwell, Oklahoma; one son, David Harris and wife Patty of Mulberry, Arkansas; two sisters, Virginia and Carolyn; one brother, Larry; three grandchildren, Lacie Harris, Corey Yandell, Brandon Kincaid; ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, December 9, 2022 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark, with Brother Brad Elrod officiating.
