Age 99 of Minneapolis passed away peacefully on December 6, 2022. Preceded in death by parents, Francis T. and Elizabeth Bartholet along with brother Francis L. Bartholet. Survived by nephews Steven (Cathy), Francis (Theresa), David (Grace), Mark, Daniel (Kari), niece Mary (Don) Hogan, 13 great nephews and nieces in addition to 7 great-great nephews and nieces. Mardonna retired from Edina High School after 37 years of teaching history. During her career she received numerous awards including the Fulbright Scholarship to study in France and the Harvard Distinguished Secondary teacher award. She enjoyed her time with her students, embracing leading-edge teaching methods to encourage learning through research and self-discovery.
