Obituary of Lynn Phillips Please share a memory of Lynn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends. View Tribute Book Lynn Phillips, of Parksville, passed away on December 16, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center in Harris, NY. She was 74. Lynn was born on October 29, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY to Elias Levin and Minnie Bechinsky. She was employed as a property manager, and in her free time, she enjoyed cultivating flowers and gardening and playing a good game of Scrabble. Lynn was an animal lover who enjoyed her beloved feline companion, Miss Kitty, and feeding roving cats in need of a little tender care. Lynn was appreciated by those who knew her as a positive, dignified, and composed woman who took pride in her appearance and professional commitments. She was friendly and quick to offer a smile. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, and will be forever fondly remembered as expressed in the following poem written by a friend: “She” There once was a woman So small and petite The adorable clothes So colorful and neat L’il up in age and you’d never guess Wears pants exact size Matching top, never a dress. Smiles when you meet her Her locks curly lite You meet so darn many But she’s nowhere in sight. Works every day many years not a frown What she says she does She won’t let you down. So this lovely lady You should really meet As she’s picking up her car Or walking down the street Say hi, shake her hand, you’ll see what I mean. So joyfully walking, impeccably clean. ( C. Lozosco) She leaves behind her cherished companion, Charles Mavoides; her sisters Georgia Warshaw and Anita Parker; her nephews Jimmy Green and his wife Kathy, Russ Warshaw, Josh Warshaw and his companion Jeff Robinson, Seth Warshaw and his wife Kathy; her great-nephew Cody Green and Shauna; and her great-niece Carlee Mills and her husband Tim. She was predeceased by her niece, Kelli Green. A Memorial Service will be held later in the springtime at the convenience of the family.
