Biglarderi, 98, beloved wife of the late Louis Biglarderi, died on Sunday, October 30th at the Linden in Brookfield. She was born in North Dartmouth, MA on May 23, 1924, daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Cordeiro) Rogers. She graduated from Dartmouth High School. She worked for the rationing board during WWII where she met her fuure husband, Louis Biglarderi at an Army USO dance. They married June 17, 1944 in New Bedford, MA. They lived on the Fort Rodman Army base where he was a caretaker after the war for five years. They moved to Danbury, CT in 1956 where they raised their two daughters. She worked in the medical field as a LPN for several years before her retirement, She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and was an expert sewerer. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Danbury where she was a lecturer and enjoyed volunteering her time wherever needed. She will be sadly missed by her cherished daughters, Louise Biglarderi and Linda Kayfus (John); her grandchildren, Chris Bigliardieri (Sarah), Troy Kayfus (Gloria), Jason Kayfus (Gerri-Ann), and Melissa Mamudi (Fitor), who was also her devoted caregiver. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, Jakob, Ariana, Jalyn Mamudi, Ryan,Tristen, Shayne, Ella, Ariana Kayfus, Dylan, Dakota Kayfus, and Alessia Bigliardieri; her sister, Alice Harrop; and several nieces and nephews and of course her beloved dog Coco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 3rd at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Wednesday between the hours of 5:00 – 7:00pm.
