She was born on September 19, 1960 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Chance A. Schultz, Sr. and Verna Pauline (Byers) Schultz. Lorraine worked for USA811 for 18 1/2 years. She was survived by husband of 40 years, Kevin J. Porter; sister, Verna Sue Schultz; brother, Chance A. Schultz, Jr.; brother in law, Keith D. (Annette) Porter; niece, Amy J. Thomasson; nephew, Andrew M. Schultz, and four great nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Bryant Michael Porter, and older sister, Paula Jean Schultz. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 1:00 pm. Lorraine will be laid to rest in Harris Cemetery, Bargersville, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
