Lois Marjorie Kientz August 6, 1933 – August 5, 2022 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card VALLEY FALLS, KS- Lois Marjorie Allen Kientz, 88, of Valley Falls, KS, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at Lansing Care and Rehab. She was born August 6, 1933 in Thurston, NE, the daughter of Seth Thomas and Mabel E. (Wilson) Allen. Lois lived most of her life in Valley Falls and graduated from Valley Falls High School. She attended Beauty School and worked as a beautician for several years. She also worked at the IGA store in Valley Falls. Lois was a loving mother and grandmother and loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved listening to the Fiddle and Country Music. She was a sports fan and loved watching the Kansas City Royals, KU Basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs. Survivors include a son, Gary Royer (Carla) of McLouth, KS; daughter, Tracy Harrington (Pat) of Valley Falls, KS; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Seth and Mabel Allen; son, Clark Royer; 5 sisters, Evelyn Allen, Eunice Osburn, June Brown, Doris Moore and Patsy Frommer and 7 brothers, John, Donald, Richard “Dick”, Lloyd, Harold, Roy and Tom Allen. Lois will be dearly missed by all her loved ones. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to Jefferson County Hospice c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O.   1. Lois was like my second mama. She even swatted my bottom a couple times. It was all in good fun, though because she’s always loved me unconditionally. Her door was always open and I will sure miss her. I sure did love her, My sincere condolences to the family.
