Funeral services for Lois J. Tekavec (nee Lugosky), age 90, of Concord Twp., will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at St. Gabriel Parish 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road., Concord Twp. (Please meet at church). Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Jakubs-Waite Funeral Home 36000 Lakeshore Blvd Eastlake. Interment will be private. Mrs. Tekavec was born on February 27, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Emil and Wanda (nee Rottenburg) Lugosky. Lois worked as a bookkeeper for many years and retired from Pressure Castings Company. She was very creative and loved SEWING, gardening, computers, cooking, and shopping, but most of all spending time with her family. Lois was the beloved wife of Victor A. Tekavec Jr. (deceased); loving mother of Terry (Margret), Sharon (Patrick Mahoney) Weaver, Suzanne (David) Simpson, Ted, and Tim (Donna); cherished grandmother of Nate (Kasey), Elizabeth (Thurston), Alecia (Andrew), Matthew (Cristina), Cort, Emily, and Sam; proud great grandmother of 7 and soon to be 1 more; sister of Martha, Edna, Ruth, Fred, and Melita.
