Lloyd Glen Wieland of Rolla, Missouri passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the age of ninety. He was born in Rolla, Missouri on May 21, 1932, to the late Oakle and Eunice (Lacy) Wieland. Lloyd lived his entire life in the Rolla area. He was a graduate of Rolla High School class of 1950. He was a reliable, fair, and honest man who helped many people along the way. He was a long-time employee of UMR and retired as grounds crew foreman. Lloyd enjoyed going to church and was a dedicated member of Greentree Christian Church. He was the happiest being outdoors, fixing things for people, and spending time with his family. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge #213, Rebekah, and Odd Fellows. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Lloyd is survived by his brother, Floyd (Linda) Wieland of Rolla, Missouri; sisters, Margaret (Russell) England of Alanson, Michigan, and Roberta (Clyde) Jones of Ash Grove, Missouri; niece, Glenda England; nephews, Glenn England, John Wieland and Charles Wieland; stepchildren, Pat Wilson and Jackie Davis; a host of step-grandchildren, extended family and friends. A graveside service for Lloyd Wieland will be held on at 11:00AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the Pea Ridge Cemetery, Doolittle, Missouri with Tim Cook officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the Rolla Chapel of the James and Gahr Mortuary, Rolla, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to the Show-Me Christian Youth Home or the Pea Ridge Cemetery. Card are available at all James and Gahr locations.
