View Tribute Book Linda Gail (Kenseth) Reppen, age 69, of Edgerton passed away unexpectedly at home on December 10 after a brief illness. She was born on August 26, 1953, the second child of Donald and Grace (Johnson) Kenseth. Linda graduated from Edgerton High School with the Class of 1971 and married Richard Vale later that year. Together they had two sons and were co-owners of Valeridge (former Northern Inn) for several years. After they separated, Linda and the boys moved to Appleton, WI where she was employed by Accurate Alignment. She was eventually promoted to vice president of the company before her retirement. Linda moved back to Edgerton and married Jacob Reppen on August 12, 2004 while on a Harley vacation to Sturgis, SD. They have enjoyed many happy years together living in the Reppen family home on Albion Road and later building a new home together. She was a waitress at Emigail’s restaurant for several years and became good friends with her co-workers and many customers she met there. Linda loved her new home, growing tomatoes and daisies and especially loved being a grandma and Mema. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, being a jokester and for her beautiful smile. Survivors include her husband, Jake, sons Peter Vale, AZ and granddaughter, Phoenix Vale and Adam (Tara Workman) Vale, Appleton, and grandchildren Kayla and Cole Vale and Bree and Taylor Workman. She is also survived by Shannon (Tom) Law, Janesville and grandson, Jacob, Nicole (Tyler) Zimdars, Edgerton and grandchildren Brittani and Bianca Lothe, Shaun, Cade and Wyatt Zimdars, Shane (Kristie) Reppen, Brodhead, Trinity Curlee, Janesville and grandchildren Tristan and Evan; sisters, Margie (Don Bush) Lund, Edgerton and Joan (Ron) Spafford, Janesville, brother Ted (Beth) Kenseth, Stillwater, MN; aunts Dianne Kenseth and Barbara Robey, an uncle Richard Robey and several cousins, nephews, a niece and many good friends. Linda will definitely be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents (Earl and Vera Kenseth, Neil Johnson and Ruth Dorn). There will be no funeral service as this was Linda’s wish. Apfel-Ehlert Funeral Home has assisted the family. Read more
