Linda (Jean) Charland, of Enfield, beloved wife of Raymond Charland, peacefully passed away on November 20th. She was born in Manchester, CT on July 4, 1947, the daughter of the late Gerald and Hazel (Doherty) Jean. She was the owner and operator of Carol Jean’s Hair Salon in East Windsor for several years and employed by Cuno/3M Corporation until her retirement. Linda enjoyed bowling, traveling and trips to the casino. She loved animals and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She was also a great fan of Elvis. Linda is survived by her daughter Kimberly and her husband Mark of Enfield; her grandchildren Mark Chapman and Ryan Chapman and his fiance Cassandra; her great grandson, Patrick Chapman, and dear friends Ronnie and Judi Silva, Sister-in-law Barbara Charland, nephew’s Michael, Keith, and Todd and their spouses, and children. She was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Hathaway, and her sister, Carol Jean, and brother in law Richard Charland. Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
