Linda Chason, 73 of Wauchula, peacefully and prayerfully passed away at her home just outside Wauchula on Saturday, November 12, 2022. She was born May 15, 1949, in Wauchula, Florida to John W. and Reba M. Roberson (now deceased) of Wauchula. She was a retired homemaker, active in her church, and always ready to help someone or listen to their troubles. She was a member of the New Vision Worship Center in Zolfo Springs and formerly North Side Baptist Church in Wauchula. She is survived by her husband of 52 years; A. Floyd Chason and two children John M. Chason and Leah E. Chason Hines (Husband, Keith Hines); five grandchildren, Caitlin Chason, Courtney Chason, John Michael Chason Jr. (Wife, Kaylee), Madisyn Hines, and Natalie Hines; five great-grandchildren along with her brother Wallace Roberson (Wife, Gloria) and her best friend and Sister-in-Law, Brenda Chason Holmes. Funeral Services will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Friday, November 18, 2022, with a Visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. and Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be at the Lake Dale Baptist Cemetery in her family plot next to her mother, Dad and younger brother Ronnie Roberson. Funeral Services will be officiated by Pastor Rod Cannon of New Vision Worship Center. At her previous request instead of flowers, being a breast cancer survivor, she would like donations made to breast cancer research with the American Cancer Association.
