SERVICE RESCHEDULED Larry G. Garland, 71 years old of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, IL. He was born August 12, 1950, in Lepanto, AR. Larry retired from Kerry Ingredients in Millstadt, IL. Larry enjoyed golfing and playing pool. Surviving are his wife, whom he married May 25, 1974 in Floraville, IL, Susan Ann Garland, nee Etling of Millstadt, IL, his daughter, Sarah E. (Joshua) D’Atri of Millstadt, IL, his grandchildren, Olivia and Emma, his sisters, Mary Arnt of Phoenix, AZ., & Cheryl Gordon of Cedar Hill, MO, his brothers, Allen Garland of Smithton, IL., and Bruce W. Garland of Bloomsdale, MO, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil E. & Emma, nee Barber, Garland, his son, Joshua D. Garland, his brothers, Cecil E. Garland, Cecil L. Garland & Joseph Garland and his sisters, Eva M. Persh & Dorothy F. Clement, his brother, Glen Garland. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 4-6 p.m. at Leesman Funeral home in Millstadt, IL. Memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL., with Rev. Matt Caraway, officiating. Per Larry’s wishes he was cremated.
