Larry Bill Faurot, 75, dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away in his sleep in his home on November 8th, 2022, in Bluffdale, UT. Larry was born on November 7th, 1947, in Council Bluffs, IA to Shirley Jeanie Abegglen and Billie Calvin Faurot. He graduated high school and afterwards joined the Army where he served 18 months before returning home. He then worked for 12 years as a Sherrif in San Diego County. After moving to Utah in 1992 he worked a variety of jobs before landing himself at the Post Office, where he remained until he retired in 2015. After retirement he spent his time fishing and traveling with his grandson Brendan. Larry is survived by his wife Dana and her two daughters, Melinda and Melissa. As well as his first wife Judy Dunham Ziesmer and their two sons, Todd and Troy. He also leaves behind his sister Debbie Rutherford and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. As well as many other family members that he cared deeply for. Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Jeanie Abegglen and his father, Billie Calvin Faurot. At his request there will be no funeral. His only wish was for his ashes to be scattered in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
