View Tribute Book Katy Lue Lillard was born October 11, 1957 to the late James Heath and Naomi Henderson in Cass County, Texas. Katy attended school at the Old Douglas High and from there to Atlanta, Texas. She only had one daughter, Kayla McGary (Melvin McGary) that she loved dealy and was the apple of her eye. She also had three sons, Jerry Lillard, Jerome Lillard and Tyrone Lillard. She worked for Elara Coring until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Naomi Heath; one brother, Christopher Whetstone and three sisters, Kathy Dickerson, Winnie Lightsey and Rosie Whetstone. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving daughter, Kayla McGary (Melvin); three sons, Jerry, Jerome and Tyrone Lillard; one sister, LaKeisha Whetstone; two brothers, Willie Whetstone, Edward Whetstone; two wonderful grandchildren, Tyaisha Hall and Ja’Morion McGary; great-grandson, Kingston Hall; God niece, Christie Luckey and a very special friend, David Grant that she loved dearly. Services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Hanner Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Floyd Valley Cemetery in Marietta, Texas.
