Kathryn A. “Kathy” Seward of Springville, NY passed away October 8, 2022 at the age of 77. She was born on April 24, 1945 in Watertown, NY a daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Cullen) Munroe. Kathy was an RN for 40+years. She retired from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Kathy grew up on the family farm in Antwerp, NY. She pursued a degree in nursing, receiving her RN degree from Trocaire College in Buffalo, NY. She enjoyed reading, playing all kinds of games, doing word puzzles, and watching crime dramas, which included Dr. G: Medical Examiner. She loved to spend her free time with her friends and family. Her husband, Fred Seward, whom she married on March 14, 1975 passed away July 5, 2010. She is survived by her children: Jill (Troy) Anderson, Wendy (Bob) Darling, Eric (Michele) Seward, Lynn ( Marshall) Morgan, Megan (Kurt) McDonald; daughter-in-law: Beth Seward; her siblings: James (Debra) Munroe, Cynthia (Frank) Laverghetta, Michael (Bonnie) Munroe, Daniel (Rhonda) Munroe; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friend – John Warren. In addition to her parents, and husband, Kathy is preceded in death by her son – Todd Seward. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11am at the Mortons Corners Volunteer Fire Department, 13363 Mortons Corners Road, Concord, NY where a luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered at the Antwerp American Legion, Main Street, Antwerp, NY 13608 or the Mortons Corners Volunteer Fire Department, 13363 Mortons Corners Road, Concord, NY 14141.
