Obituary June Marie Mayes, 90, of Sevierville, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022. She was a member of Thrive Church in Sevierville. June is preceded in death by her husband and soulmate of 61 years, Truby Joe Mayes; her parents, Fred and Hazel (Starcher) Thomas; and brothers, James Thomas and Gene Thomas. June is survived by her two daughters, Eugena Jo (Terrance) Wilson and Joy Lynn (Clifford) Snuffin. She lived with her daughter, Joy and her husband, for the past 11 years where she was greatly loved and cared for. She is also survived by her brother, Justin Boyd Thomas; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Rawlings Funeral Home at 716 Eastgate Road. Visitation will begin for the public at 12:30 with services to follow at 1:30pm on Friday, September 9th, 2022. Pastor Philip Morris will officiate. Committal at graveside at Roberts Cemetery following service.
