Obituary John Currin Hendrick Jr, 63, of Stafford, Virginia, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, surrounded by family at his son’s home in Fredericksburg, Virginia after a long battle with cancer. John was born April 29, 1958, to John and Grace (Lacy) Hendrick and spent his life in the Northern Virginia area. John was employed as an HVAC technician and as a plumber when he was younger. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed bowling where he bowled numerous 300 games and won tournaments. He had a love for classic cars and motorcycles. The biggest joy in his life were his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Linda Hendrick, his step-grandson, Jackson Padgett, and two brothers, Michael Hendrick and Billy Hendrick. John is survived by: his daughter Erica Allder and her husband Melvin Allder III of Sterling, VA, his son Jason Hendrick and his wife Kelly, Hendrick of Fredericksburg, VA; his grandchildren Nathan and Mason Allder and Payton Hendrick, and his step-grandson Jay Padgett; his sisters Jackie Davis and her husband Bill Davis of Townsend, TN, Kathy Huskey of Alcoa, TN, and Rose Boling and her husband Steve Boling of Bluff City, TN; his brothers Robert Hendrick of Alcoa, TN, and Brian Hendrick and his companion Susan May of Elkton, VA; his stepsons Kevin Higbee and Adam Higbee; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Money & King Funeral Home in Vienna, VA. Services will be Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 11:00 am at Money & King Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, VA. Read more
