View Tribute Book Jo-Dell “Jodie” Loeffler, age 66, passed away at her home in Conover, WI on November 18, 2022, with her fiancĂ© Steven Vogel by her side. She fought a courageous battle with cancer, and tried to spare everyone of the pain she suffered throughout her illness. Jo-Dell was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 16, 1956 to Leroy and E. Maxine Loeffler. She worked as a florist in Milwaukee for over 30 years before moving to the Northwoods where fo the final 16 years of her life, she was employed by the Wisconsin DNR and then the US Postal Service. Jodie never was known to meet a stranger and offered her smile and friendship to every single person she met. She would step in to help anyone she saw who needed a friend. She always personally cared for all the people on her mail route, and would check in on them daily if she sensed a concern. Her service to that community was stellar and she will be greatly missed be everyone of them. Jodie was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Linda Luber. She is survived by her sister: Sue Norville of Milwaukee, WI; brother: Larry (Gina) Loeffler of Marquette, WI; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the St. Germain Evangelical Free Church. The date of the service will be posted on the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home website once finalized. Read more
