Jill Ellen Shuster (Rosen), 78, of St. Louis Park, born in Los Angeles, CA, died peacefully on August 10, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Jill attended the University of Minnesota and was a graduate of St. Louis Park High School class of ’62. Preceded in death by parents, Sonja Asmussen Rosen and Avron Harry Rosen; brother, Mark Rosen; and former husband and father of her children, Stanford Shuster. She is survived by her children, Jonathan (Jen Pettit), Tony (Hannah Rawlings) and Kelley (Jeff) Defren; grandchildren, Jacob, Robert, Sophie, Sonja and Alex; siblings, James (Julie) Kline, Richard (Joyce) Axilrod and Dianne Cell Elliott; nieces and nephews, Hutch Axilrod, Mark Cell and Marni Cell. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her love and devotion to her family and treasured friendships with lifelong friends. She enjoyed her German Shepherds, playing the piano, listening to the music of Bob Dylan and knowing she successfully raised three children. Graveside service 10:00 am MONDAY, August 15th, ADATH YESHURUN CEMETERY, 5605 France Ave. S, Edina; also available via Zoom by sending an email to zoom4@hodroffepstein.com. SHIVA Monday evening at 7 pm at 4740 Kingsview Lane, Plymouth, MN, 55446. Memorials preferred to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Minnesota Chapter.
