Jerry Lee Hackler, age 85, of Jefferson City, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran; a member of Mossy Creek Masonic Lodge #353 for over 58 years; a former member of Kerbela Shriners; and a former member of Morristown Chapter #79 Royal Arch Masons for 48 years. He was also a member and deacon of Jefferson City Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Alice Hackler II; sisters, Lois Orrick, Helen Hartley, Geneva Pridemore, Margie Stevens; brothers, John Hackler III, Joe Hackler. He is survived by his caregiver loving wife of 63 years, Faye Hackler; children, Teresa (Sam) Thompson, Sheri (Alan) Redmond; grandchildren, Ashley (Dontaye) Hall, Jacob (Faith Peery) Thompson, Daniel (Kassie) Hackler, Victoria “Tori” Redmond, step-grandchild, Michael (Natasha) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Jay Hall and Hendrix Hall; step-great-grandchild, Cydney (Nick) Burchell; great-great-grandchild, Wrenley Burchell; and several nieces, nephews and very special friends. Funeral service 1:00 pm Monday, November 21, 2022, at Jefferson City Christian Church with Rev. Bob Emmert officiating. Interment to immediately follow in Jefferson Memorial Garden with military honors provided by V.F.W. Post #5266. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
