Obituary Jerry K. Lee (82), a native of Lebanon, Kentucky, died peacefully on November 21, 2022, with his wife and daughter by his side. He was born November 19, 1940 in Lebanon to the late, Emmett Abell Lee and Anna Kathleen Hughes. For many years Jerry ran the Golden Horseshoe Nightclub and Restaurant until it closed in 1991. He later went to work for and retired from the Kentucky State Reformatory and spent many years working as a deputy at the Marion County Jail. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmet Abell Lee and Anna Kathleen Hughes; and siblings, J.E. Lee, Stanley Lee, and Tootsie Tate. He is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Peggy Lee, four adult children and their spouses, Debbie Lee-Clark (Mike) of Jacksonville, Florida, James K. Lee (Kim) of Dallas, Texas, J. Stan Lee (Tami) of Lexington, and M. Scott Lee of Louisville, Kentucky, two step-sons, Jeff Marr (Stacy) and Mike Marr, and three beautiful granddaughters, Leeanne Clark, Addie Elizabeth Lee and Ava Marr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 25, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 235 S. Spalding Avenue, Lebanon, KY 40033, Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass on Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
