Jerry Leon “Chub” Cunningham, 76, of Braggs, Oklahoma passed away on November 14, 2022. He was born on April 7, 1946 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Russell Haskell Cunningham and Daisy (Hinds) Cunningham. Jerry graduated from Braggs High School with the class of 1965. Jerry married the love of his life, Loretta Faye Burdine, on December 31, 1982 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They shared almost 40 years of life, marriage and family together. He was a machine operator at ACME Engineering for many years until his retirement in 2008. Jerry enjoyed riding his horse on trail rides, going camping with his family and watching rodeos. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Daisy Cunningham; his brothers, Russell, Harold and Jack Cunningham; sisters, Wilma Lovell, Bertha Beavers, Jean Hayes, Barbara Wallace and Patsy Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta of the home; daughter, Lacey VanDyke and husband Justin of China Grove, NC; stepson, Jeremy Coleman and wife Pam of Muskogee, OK; granddaughter, Emery VanDyke of China Grove, NC; grandsons, Braden and Bryce of Muskogee, OK; sisters, Sue Rogers and Roberta Rogers Both of Muskogee, OK; brothers, Joe Cunningham of Muskogee, OK, Don Cunningham and wife Teresa of Ft. Gibson, OK; brother-in-law, Jerrold Williams; sister-in-law, Judy Estep and husband Hoppy; and many other family members and friends. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be 2PM, Monday, November 21, 2022 at South Bethel Cemetery in Braggs with Chaplain Bill Crow officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff McElhaney, Jeremy Coleman, Tony Irving, Braden Coleman, Jerry Foster and Andy White. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Ward, George Allen Ward and Johnny Ward.
