Jennifer’s Obituary Jennifer Paulson, 52, of Mankato, died August 5, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato after a brief illness surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Dr., in North Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service. Livestreaming will be available at www.mankatomortuary.com. Jennifer was born July 9, 1970 to Thomas and Karen (Tukua) Bergner in Morris, Minnesota. She graduated from ROCORI High School in 1988. She continued her education at St. Cloud State University and Minnesota State University, Mankato. Jennifer married Andreas Paulson in 2005. Together they raised one son, Cody. Jennifer worked for the Mankato Clinic and as a RN at Mayo Health System in Mankato. In her free time, Jennifer enjoyed camping, softball, traveling on her motorcycle, and especially golfing with her son, Cody. Jennifer is survived by her son, Cody Paulson; former husband, Andreas Paulson; mother, Karen Bergner; father, Thomas, Bergner; siblings, Marcus Bergner and Jay (Dana) Bergner; nieces, Hannah Bergner and Nora Bergner; nephew, Ty Bergner; aunts and uncles, Ellen (Richard) Chicos, Gene (Karla) Tukua; Pat (Bruce) Breilein, Mike (Barb) Bergner, Jodi (Tom) Quiram, Jim “Hap” Bergner, and Jill (Neil) Schlaak; uncle, Dwayne Escher; several cousins; and her beloved dog, Gordo. Jennifer was preceded in death by her sister, Abbie Bergner; aunt, Jeri Escher; and grandparents, Myrtle and Duke Tukua and Donna and Lyle “Rocky” Bergner.
