View Tribute Book Jennifer Louise Pekala, age 51, of Attica, Michigan, died peacefully Sunday, November 27, 2022. Jennifer was born April 11, 1971, in Harrison Mississippi. She graduated from North Pike High School in Summit, Mississippi – class of 1989. Jennifer served her country proudly in the US Army. Upon her honorable discharge, She went to work as a US mail carrier – her career spanned 30 years. Jen always went above and beyond at work always looking out for her customers and taking special care of them when needed. Jen loved gardening and her beloved cat, Manny. Above all, Jen loved simple times spent with her family. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Kenneth Pekala, Sr; two children: Kenneth Pekala, Jr of Dryden and Miranda Pekala of Attica; brother, Justin (Jennifer) Junot of Youngsville, Louisiana; grandmother “Mimi” Mobley of Biloxi, Mississippi; mother and father in-law: Joe and Robin Pekala of Imlay City; brothers and sisters in-law: Jeff & Shelly Pekala of North Branch and Jennifer & Tim Golen of Imlay City. Jen is also survived by her Uncle Robert (Susan) Mobley of Biloxi, Mississippi and four nieces and nephews: Luke Junot, Kaden Junot, Joe Pekala and Mikayla Pekala. She was preceded in death by her mother, Debbie Junot. In keeping with Jen’s wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. A celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held in the near future – please visit Muir’s website or call Muirs for updated information.
