View Tribute Book Mrs. Jean Louise Logan Izard, 96, widow of the late Robert James Izard, passed away peacefully at the home of her son while visiting for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2022. Born in Madrid, New York on April 9, 1926, Mrs. Izard was the daughter of the late Lloyd & Doris Lockwood Logan. Mrs. Izard graduated with her bachelor’s in arts degree and was a former music teacher. However, she will be most remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was avid bird watcher and a member of the Greece Historical Society in Rochester. She is survived by a daughter, Laurie Jean Lawrenz of Leesburg, VA; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Robert L. & Irena Izard of Fort Collins, CO and Richard D. & Linda Izard of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Erica & Mark Lightheiser, Kevin Izard, Katelyn & Thomas Batson, Ryan & Anna Maria Izard, Emily & Scott Cely and Casey & Anna Izard; 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Izard was pre-deceased by a brother Richard Logan and 3 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
