View Tribute Book Jeanette (Gross) Dobrin passed away peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2022 at her home in Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., NJ. She was 83 years old. Jeanette was born and raised in Brooklyn. She moved to the New Dorp section of Staten Island in 1970 where she raised her family. She moved to New Jersey in 2002 and ultimately settled in the Rossmoor community in Monroe Twp., NJ. She started her career in the banking industry at Seamen’s Bank in Manhattan and retired from Chase Bank at the end of her career. She enjoyed playing weekly Mahjong games and was Treasurer of her playing group. She also enjoyed traveling all over the world. Jeanette was a fiercely independent person who prided herself on living her life her own way. She was predeceased by her parents and one sister. She is survived by her two children, Scott Dobrin and his wife Denise of Staten Island, and Randi Anastasio and her husband George of Bridgewater, one sister, Leona Lustig and her husband Steve of Charlotte, NC, one brother-in-law, George Dolinsky of Stoughton, MA, four grandchildren, Zachary, Kelly, Jeremy, and Matthew, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. A graveside service will be 1pm on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Clover Leaf Park Cemetery, US-1 & Rt 35 Woodbridge Twp., NJ 07095. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the M.
