Obituary Jean L (Lee) Welter, 66, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Wednesday June 8, 2022 after a visit from her sons. She was the wife of the late Robert “Bob” Welter, who predeceased her in June of 2016. They were married for 42 years She was born on September 13, 1955 in East Stroudsburg the daughter of Rose (Hineline) Lee of East Stroudsburg and the late Roy (Chuck) Lee. Jean worked for 26 years as a traffic guard for East Stroudsburg School and for the local park. She is survived by her three sons, Adam J. Welter, Jason Welter and his wife Holly, Robert Welter and Karyn Kasperski of East Stroudsburg. Her sisters Rose Nelson, Bess Farrence, Patricia Dehaven, Rose Shaffer; her brother Michael Lee. Her grandbabies, Dillon, Fallon, Aaron, Robert, Jacob, Paige, Chelsey and Gaige She was predeceased by her 2 brothers and two sister in laws, Peter Lee, Sheryl Lee, Roy (Chuck) Lee Jr and Rebecca lee; her brother in law Michael Farrence and Wayne Dehaven. Her grandparents Bessie and Richard Smith, Elsie and Fred Hineline and Arthur Lee; We love you Jean. Memorial funeral services will be held on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor Margie Good officiating.
