Jayma L. (Eggers) Jones, 46, of Mitchell, IN, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at IU Health Methodist Trauma Unit in Indianapolis. Born on April 16, 1976, in Fort Gordon, GA, she was the daughter of Paul “Jim” and Virginia “Ginny” (Ratliff) Eggers. She married Marvin Jones, and he survives. Jayma attended Mitchell High School and graduated with the class of 1994. She worked at NSWC Crane for 22 years. She was a member of the Mitchell First Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and animals. Surviving to cherish the memory of Jayma is her husband, Marvin; parents, Jim and Ginny; cousins, Eric Ratliff, Thairon Ratliff, and Marie Lessig, as well as their families; several other cousins; grandparents, Robert and Catherine Ratliff; and a special aunt, Carol (Jim) Abbott. Private funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Cresthaven Memory Gardens at the Chapel of Peace. Memorial Contributions in memory of Jayma may be made to the White River Humane Society. The Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford has been entrusted with the arrangements for Jayma L. (Eggers) Jones.
