Obituary of Iva Jeanne Nalbone Iva Jeanne Nalbone, 71, of 28 Dearborn Street, died Tuesday November 29, 2022, in UPMC Hamot, Erie. A lifelong Jamestown resident, she was born March 19, 1951, a daughter of the late Boyd and Mary Genco Morrell. She was a 1969 graduate of Jamestown High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed by JC Penny in the catalog department. She had also worked for Bigelow’s, Carnahan’s, Herberts and Jones Bakery. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Iva was a devoted Nana and loved spending time with her grandchildren, of whom she was so proud. Iva’s family wishes to thank both UPMC Chautauqua and Hamot for the wonderful care given to her. Surviving is her husband Thomas Nalbone, whom she married August 13, 1995; two children Kimberly (Travis) Knight of Jamestown and Sean (Elizabeth) Jones of Falconer; four grandchildren Maxwell and Gabriella Knight of Jamestown and Cyrus and Sage Jones of Falconer; two step grandchildren Taylor Knight of Jamestown and Camryn Knight of Brooklyn, NY; a dear friend Dee Dee Liden; former husband Kimball (Nancy) Jones of Huntersville, NC and her beloved Springer Spaniel Cleopatra. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her grandmother Iva Trollan and her beloved Springer Spaniel Maggie. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Friends will be received from 3-6 pm Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
