Obituary DALLASTOWN – Isabell (Mansfield) Sellers, 81, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, teacher, and friend to so many. We are incredibly grateful that she shared so much of herself with others. The impact she made in this world will never be forgotten and she will be deeply missed. Isabell was known for shedding light in others’ lives. She was compassionate, selfless, and so giving of her time and talents. She always saw the good in people, no matter the circumstances. She was a blessing to people in so many ways. She was the shoulder to lean on in time of need, a great listener, a role model, the smiling face, and comforting soul that could put anyone at ease. She always placed others before herself and truly tried to make a positive impact on everyone she met. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Rev. Laura C. Baker officiating. A visitation will be held from 12-2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home. Isabell’s Tribute Service will be webcast on her obituary page at www.HeffnerCare.com Born September 9, 1941 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Franklin N. and Pauline C. (Batt) Mansfield; she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Lock Haven University in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree from Millersville. Ms. Sellers began as an elementary school teacher and spent most of her career as a Reading Specialist at the Elementary and Middle School levels of Dallastown Area School District. She retired in 2001 after more than 30 years of teaching. Isabell was a member of Dallastown BPW Organization, Parents Without Partners, Literacy Ladies, and Sophisticated Ladies Red Hat Society. In retirement, she enjoyed volunteering with York City School students, Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen, and ACCESS York. When she wasn’t volunteering, she enjoyed working in her garden and taking mid-day naps with her feline companion, Lilly. Ms. Sellers is survived by a son, Derek F. Sellers of Dallastown; a daughter, Robin S. and husband Mark Seifert of Mt. Wolf; two grandchildren, Hayden and Laney Seifert; a brother, Franklin Mansfield of Stewartstown; and her tabby cat, Lilly. She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony J. Sellers.
