Obituary Imogene Henry McFalls, age 90 of Sevierville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 8, 2022. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother who lived her faith each day. She never met a stranger and always had an open door for anyone who needed a listening ear or friendly conversation. As a cancer survivor, she knew the importance of family and was protective over hers. Imogene worked many years as a waitress at McNabb Restaurant followed by many years and retirement from Electro Voice. Realizing retirement wasn’t for her, she worked at K-Mart for many years and was lovingly known as “Momma Jean” by her co-workers. She is preceded in death by her husband, John D. McFalls, father, Rev. Elijah Henry, mother, Ollie Justus Henry, brother James W. Henry, sister Ruth Henry, son Charlie McFalls, Sr. and son-in-law Donald E. Furgeson. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Kay Whaley, son, Richard McFalls (Julie); grandchildren, Daniel Furgeson (Kim), Charles “C.J.” McFalls, Jr. (Tiffany), Casey Cogdill (Shaun), Bryce McFalls (Heather), as well as her great-grandchildren, Austin Ogle, Janelle Furgeson, Travis Rolen, Tucker, Tate and Toby Cogdill, Isaac and Bella McFalls. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Faye Henry McCarter (Jack), brother, Jack Henry (Josephine) and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Sevierville Health and Rehabilitation for their care and support over the past 2 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Alzheimer’s Tennessee, 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Monday, December 12, 2022 with memorial service to follow at 6 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
