A Celebration of Life Service for Harvey Lee Meeks, 80 of Michie, TN, will be Monday, December 5, 2022 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel on Hwy 45 South with interment to follow at Magnolia Gardens with Military Honors. Visitation will be Monday, December 5, 2022 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Bro. Brantson Vuncannon and Bro. Terry Ray Vuncannon will officiate the service. Mr. Meeks passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. He was born November 10, 1942 in Corinth, MS to Thomas Benton Meeks and Pauline Dowdy Meeks. He was of the Baptist faith and served his country in the U S Navy. He was a member of Magnolia Car Club and loved showing classic cars. He enjoyed yard work and traveling in his RV with his dog, Penny. Harvey is survived by his son, Bart Meeks and wife Aimee; 2 grandchildren, Cooper Gaylord and Chase Gaylord; his brother, Thomas Meeks and wife Paula; his sister-in-law, Connie Robison; his niece, Brooke Vuncannon and husband Brantson; his nephew, Michael Meeks; his great niece and nephew, Braysleee Vuncannon and Waylon Vuncannon; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Harris Meeks; his father T.B. Meeks and his mother, Pauline Dowdy Meeks. Pallbearers will be Cooper Gaylord, Chase Gaylord, Michael Meeks, Thomas Meeks and Brantson Vuncannon. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Harvey Lee Meeks.
