HAROLD MOORE, age 81 of New Market, TN passed away Tuesday morning, November 29, 2022 at his home following a brief illness. He was the son of the late James and Mabel Ruth (Lyle) Moore and was raised in Dandridge where he was graduate of Maury High School. He was a member of the Piedmont Baptist Church and was retired from United Parcel Service after 20 years of service where he was a supervisor and manager over several divisions of the company. Following retirement, he owned his own trucking business and enjoyed farming, especially working with his cattle. He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Alberta Jones and is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Becky Moore; sons, Monty Moore, Jamie Moore, and Sam Moore; grandchildren, Hannah Moore, Aaron Moore and Addie Rose Moore; half-brother, Jim Moore; sisters-in-law, Bertie Jean French and Donna (Frank) Batson; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held, Saturday, December 3, 2022, 1:00pm at Piedmont Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts be made to the Piedmont Cemetery Fund, 1689 W. Hwy. 25/70, New Market, TN 37820. Friends may call at their convenience on Friday, December 2, 2022 between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00pm at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE, TN
