Glen’s Obituary Glen Sutter, 89, of Ransom Township peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family November 24, 2022 at Geisinger, Wilkes-Barre. He was reunited with the love of his life Mildred “Millie” Sutter, after seven long months. The couple was married since 1951 after meeting at the local roller skating rink. Born in Falls Township, Glen was the son of the late George and Elizabeth Saunders Sutter. He was a graduate of Falls-Overfield High School and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a Loader Operator for Wyoming Sand and Stone, as well as a self-employed plumber for much of his life. A true outdoorsman, Glen loved to hunt, fish, and snow mobile. He also enjoyed traveling with family and friends, card games, and sports. An active member of his community, he participated in church fundraising events and was a member of the Ransom Lions Club. Family was always deeply important to Glen. He was a pillar of gentle strength, calm, and wisdom. He was patient, loving, and easy to smile; seldom were his “feathers ruffled.” Surviving are his children, Glen of Harding; daughter Pam Neidrich and husband Gus of Clarks Summit; son Danny and wife Lisa of Ransom Township; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Shirley Sutter; grandson Eric Sutter; a brother, Ernest, and three sisters, Susan, Betty, and Alice. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 8th at 11 a.m. at Countryside Community Church, 14011 Orchard Drive, Newton Township, with services by Rev. James Hollister. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Milwaukee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Countryside Community Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E.
