Pendleton, SC– Glen Lewis Adams, 93, husband of the late Rena Addis Rhodes Adams of Pendleton, SC, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at The Residents at Park Place. A native of Oconee County, Mr. Adams was the son of the late Willie Jasper Adams and Verna Gladys Spencer Adams. He retired from Platt-Saco-Lowell as a Machinist and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Adams is survived by his daughter: Linda Slaton (Paul) of Pendleton; grandchildren: Tammy Kelley (Rodney), Glenn Slaton (Paige) and Kathy Durham (Mickey); twelve great-grandchildren; and seven great great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Adams is preceded in death by his brothers: Howard Adams and Wilton Adams. A graveside service will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM, Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Calvary Baptist Church, 8008 Liberty Hwy., Liberty, SC 29657. The family is at their respective homes.
